Terms & Conditions

1. Who we are

h.humanise is operated by Humniserai.live ("we", "us", "the seller"). By creating an account or using the service, you enter into a contract with Humniserai.live and agree to these terms. If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation; if you are an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.

2. The service

h.humanise rewrites drafts you submit to improve clarity, rhythm, and readability while preserving meaning, facts, and citations. In Academic mode, quoted text, citations, and technical terms are left unchanged. The service also includes an AI-likelihood estimator; its scores are estimates only and are not guaranteed to match any third-party detector.

3. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the Paddle customer portal; you keep access until the end of the paid period. One-time word packs never expire.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service. This includes:

  • Using the service for unlawful purposes, fraud, or spam.
  • Submitting content that infringes intellectual property rights.
  • Interfering with the service's security, including malware, probing, or scraping.
  • Reverse engineering, reselling, or redistributing the service.
  • Circumventing technical limits such as word quotas.

You are responsible for the content you submit and for how you use the output. You must have the rights to any text you submit, and you are responsible for verifying the accuracy of rewritten output before use.

5. Intellectual property

Humniserai.live retains all ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including software, documentation, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan. You retain ownership of the text you submit and the output produced from it; you grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the service.

6. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

7. Service level and warranties

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Rewritten output may contain inaccuracies and is not a substitute for professional advice.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When access ends, unused subscription quota lapses; unexpired one-time word pack balances are handled according to our refund policy.

10. General

We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. These terms are governed by the laws of the seller's jurisdiction, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
